South Bacolod General Hospital and Medical Center just turned 1 last October 15, 2016.
SBGHMC, a new 100-bed tertiary hospital along Araneta Highway, Pahanocoy, Bacolod City, near the junction of Araneta and Circumferential Road.
The hospital, which is seated on a 5,000-square-meter lot, is readily accessible to patients from subdivisions and barangays in southern Bacolod, as well as to patients coming from the southern part of the province.
The celebration of the hospital's anniversary started off with a motorcade along the major streets of Bacolod city followed by several programs. Along with its celebration, the hospital offered discounts for some of their services including selected OPD laboratory and radiology procedures.
Employees also expressed their advocacy through a poster making contest organized by the hospital. In addition, their general medical knowledge were put to test as a departmental quiz bee was held.
