The Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) AsiaPac 2015 was held in Singapore last September 2015 where the theme was “SMART Healthcare: Transforming How We Manage Health”. HIMSS is global in its coverage and HIMSS AsiaPac 2015 is the of of Digital Healthcare Week in Singapore.
It featured one of the largest Exhibition on IT Healthcare in the Asia-Pacific region. It brought together healthcare stakeholders such as IT Vendors, healthcare professionals, movers and shakers in the industry and policy makers.
HIMSS is a non-profit organization that is responsible for groundbreaking steps in improving the quality, safety and efficiency of IT based healthcare systems. The organization is composed of millions of stakeholders that include experts involved in utilizing and harnessing healthcare innovation through live and online events.
HIMSS 2016 was held last February 29 – March 4, 2016 at Las Vegas Nevada, USA. It included CIO Fora, First Timer Orientation, Interoperability showcases, Concurrent Education Sessions and an Exhibition Floor.
HIMSS brought together 40,000+ health IT professionals, clinicians, executives and vendors from around the world. The Keynote Speaker for this year was Dr. Jonah Berger, author of Contagious: Why Things Catch On. The closing Keynote speech was given by Peyton Manning, five-time NFL MVP.
